Who Should use the HCG Diet?

The diet that has taken the world by storm is the HCG Diet. The use of HCG hormone injections and the low 500 calorie diet is getting many people on board with losing weight in order to make their lives more healthy. However, what many people wonder is who is the good candidates for this diet? After all, this diet is not for everyone, especially those that could lose weight through the use of proper diets and exercise. 

Those that are at least ten pounds or more over weight and have tried those other diets in the past, are going to find that they qualify for the HCG diet more so then other people. The reason is that their body is no longer responding to other diets, which means that the times to try something drastic is here, and the person must do so in order to make sure that they have a healthy, and long life. Those that utilize the HCG diet must also have the desire to lose weight and stick to the problem. If they find that they are sneaking snacks or cheating on other aspects of the diet, then they are not going to succeed with the diet, and this is not going to help them lose weight.

Those who wish to start the HCG diet should consider the following:

  • Are you 10 pounds or more overweight?
  • Are you ready to make lifestyle changes to live healthier?
  • Can you commit to a very low calorie diet while on HCG?

Those that do use the HCG diet should have no serious health problems such as heart disease, high blood pressure or diabetes. The reason is that the calorie intake and the drastic weight loss could be a way in which to worsen these problems. Thus, healthy people who are simply overweight should be the people that are utilizing the diet. However, the doctor is the ultimate decision maker in this scenario and they are the ones that will recommend the person for the diet or not. Therefore, never start the diet on your own, but rather make sure that your doctor agrees.
